HPI’s HBP-12-2000-C series strain gages are typically used for installations on concrete or other non-weldable materials requiring long gage lengths for strain averaging. The gage assembly consists of a foil strain gage bonded to a polyimide carrier in a pre-wired package similar to our HBW series gages. The polyimide shim can be easily bonded to any material with most room temperature curing strain gage adhesives. Custom gage lengths are available.

Our HBP series gages can be configured in axial, shear and rosette patterns and are water resistant. Instrumentation cable and wiring options can be customized to your specifications. Custom gage sizes and resistance are also available. Please see the table below for options.
